The Working Environment Act requires documented HSE training of safety delegates and members of working environment committees for industries with mandatory 40 hours of HSE training.
NOTE: that the employer also has a duty to undergo training in health, safety and environment work. Section 3-5 of the Working Environment Act states that it is the employer who must undergo training in health, safety and environment work. The duty is personal and cannot be delegated.
