Goal

Participants who successfully complete the course and pass the final test will have received adequate refresher training for chief engineers as stipulated in the Qualification Regulations for Seamen (regulation of 22 December 2011, no. 1523).

Appendix IV of the Qualification Regulations, STCW tabell A-III/1 and A III/2 – Upgrades for chief engineers, electrical and electronic installations and control installations at operative and managerial levels.

Additional competence follows the Norwegian Maritime Authority’s qualification requirements.
