The examination is in English and consists of theoretical questions. Examination duration: 2 hours and 50 minutes.
Certification application The completed application form must be sent to copc@exertcertification.com. Evaluation of your qualifications and experience will be carried out by Exert Certification. Candidates who meet the requirements for certification and pass the examination will receive the IECEx Certificate of Personnel Competence. Regular re-certification ensures that the certified person maintains the required level of competence.
Fee for certification: NOK 4 000 per participant. When you have passed the examination, a certification fee of NOK 3 950 must be paid to IECEx for the initial issuing of a certificate. Updating an existing certificate to include new modules costs NOK 2 100. We reserve the right to adjust these fees in line with IECEx.

Goal
To take the certification examination in Ex 001 Basic protection principles in Ex areas.
Target group
Electrical and automation personnel and others working in or planning electrical installations in hazardous areas.
There are no minimum technical qualification requirements, but participants must have good basic knowledge and training in working in hazardous areas.
Subjects covered in the course
The certification meets the requirements of IECEx CoPC, and is conducted by Exert Certification. Details of the certification are found at www.IECEx.com.
