Upon registration for the course, you will receive digital access to course materials and practice exercises.

Practical simulator test

The IADC course concludes with a practical simulator test, as well as a theoretical test of approximately 3.5 hours, which includes questions on Equipment and Principles & Procedures.

IADC certificate

Participants must attend the entire course and achieve at least 75% correct answers to be issued an IADC certificate.

The goal

The IADC course is intended to provide participants with a thorough introduction to well control (calculations, principles and procedures, equipment, and problem-solving). During the course, participants will prepare for the IADC WellSharp tests, which are conducted on the final day of the course.

The target group

Personnel who are required to have Pressure Control certification for drilling.

Driller Level applies to positions such as driller and assistant driller.

Prerequisites

Participants are normally expected to have prior knowledge at the level of a technical vocational school (or to have previously completed a pressure control course at Introductory Level (Level 2) or Driller Level (Level 3).
