De skal kjenne til de forskrifter og normer som regulerer krav til nettkvalitet.Etter endt kurs skal deltagerne ha tilegnet seg tilstrekkelig grunnleggende kompetanse for å kunne danne seg et bilde om deres anlegg er innenfor de normer og forskrifter som ligger til grunn for installasjonen. Det blir lagt vagt på at deltagerne skal bli kjent med de tekniker som kan benyttes for å kunne foreta måling og verifikasjon av anlegget.
