Goal

This course helps participants develop a greater awareness of electrical safety thus reducing the risk of injury and material damage.

Target group

Electricians and automation technicians who work with and carry out maintenance on electrical plants.

  • The roles of Safety supervisor (high-voltage) and Switching supervisor
  • The role of being a Safety supervisor (low-voltage)
  • Structural philosophy and contents of FSE
  • The most important parts of FSE
  • The need for rules and regulations in operation and maintenance of low and high voltage plants

  • Statistics
  • The human factor
  • Safety thinking
  • Safety equipment

The course meets the official requirements for updating theoretical skills as specified in § 7 of the FSE regulations, with the exception of first aid rescuing from a height. FSE training courses must be retaken at least every 12 months (see FSE §7).
