This course is developed to increase the electricians, engineers and manufacturers knowledge about arcing hazards in electrical systems. It gives examples on how to reduce the arcing incident energy level and how to avoid being exposed to high arcing energy due to proper PPE and systems design. The course is mainly based on the standards IEEE1584 and NFPA70E.
