He has worked for several years at IKM Instrutek and has worked closely with the equipment supplier of NORSOK Z-015 equipment and in that way gained experience from both users, manufacturers and an understanding of regulations.
Anyone who supplies temporary equipment that is used on installations (fixed and movable) on the Norwegian continental shelf, and that comes under the definition of temporary equipment*, must comply with NORSOK Z-015.
*Temporary equipment is equipment for limited use on board a platform and which requires connection and/or constitutes a possible ignition source.
