The goal
After the course, participants must be able to demonstrate competence given in the STCW Convention's tables A-VI/1-1, 1-2, 1-3 and 1-4.
The target group
Seafarers who are employed or engaged in any position on board a ship within the ship's operations, as part of the ship's crew, and who are assigned duties relating to safety or prevention of pollution during the operation of the ship.

- Preventive fire protection and fire fighting (Table A-VI/1-2)

Prerequisites
Participants must hold a valid certificate for STCW Basic Safety Training for Seafarers (IMO 50), or be able to document at least 12 months of seagoing service within the last five years, together with a valid course certificate.
