The objective of the course is to provide participants with knowledge about the proper use and inspection of fall protection equipment, identifying fall hazards, and how to reduce the risk of fall accidents through planning and safety procedures.
The course is specifically designed for those who use fall protection equipment in their daily work, such as construction workers, scaffolders, and installers. It is also relevant for supervisors and HSE managers who need insight into the safe use of fall protection equipment.
The course is based on the requirements in the Norwegian standard NS 9610:2020 and the regulation “Forskrift om utførelse av arbeid”, which address fall protection and work at height requirements.
The course covers the requirements for theoretical training in fall protection, but the course participant must ensure practical training in addition to this theoretical training.
This course can be run on a computer, tablet and smart phone. For handheld devices we recommend a stable Wi-fi connection. Flash is not required for this course.
