API Trainor offers a free and open REST API that can be used to fully integrate your company's systems with Trainor. Through the API, you can in principle perform all relevant tasks, such as retrieving the course catalogue, synchronising users, placing course orders, retrieving course certificates, and more.

Remote SCORM e-læring
Trainor has a proprietary alternative for systems that do not support LTI: Remote SCORM. Instead of traditional SCORM packages — large, static course packages in zip format — you receive a small file that runs the course remotely from Trainor's servers. This means the course is always up to date, with automatic generation of user profiles and orders.

Course status will then be available both from Trainor.no and your own LMS. There are no additional costs beyond the courses you purchase. Remote SCORM is used by several different LMS platforms and we will help you get started.

Sikkerhetskort.no - integration

Sikkerhetskort.no offers a free REST API that makes it possible to retrieve and deliver data to Sikkerhetskort.no. It can be used to maintain data from your own personnel system (HR) and deliver information about completed courses from your company's own course system (LMS). Information can also be shared with other management systems such as DMS.

HR: Personnel can be created, updated, and deleted directly.

LMS: Completed courses can be sent directly from the company's course database to personnel records in Sikkerhetskort.no.

DMS: Updated information can be retrieved for management and control systems.

To use the API, you need your own login credentials. These are provided on request. The API can be used for all retrieval of information for in-house and custom-developed systems.
