Goal
On completing this course, participants will understand the most important changes in NEK 400:2022.
Target group
Electricians, automation technicians and engineers/administrators who are familiar with former versions of NEK 400.

- The most important changes in NEK 400:2022, including:
- New sub-standards that replace old ones:
- 711 Temporary electrical installations
- 751 Low voltage power supply units
- New sub-standards:
- 824 Chargestation prepared buildings
- 825 Powersupply of electric vessels
- Sub-standards that will be removed:
- 714 Outdoor lighting installations
- 740 Circus, markets and amusement parks
- 820 Aquaculture facilities
Competence
The authorities (Directorate for Civil Protection and the Norwegian Ocean Industry Authority) require that competence is documented in the internal control system. Details of this requirement are given in FEK (Regulations for Electrical Enterprises, and Qualifications to Work on Electrical Installations and Electrical Equipment) and the Norwegian Ocean Industry Authority's HSE regulations.
The FEK regulations require that all personnel have updated skills and knowledge. This includes knowledge of all national regulations and norms that are relevant for the work they do.
