Certification Exam

Time has been allocated for the exam during the course. The exam will take place from 15:00–16:00.

The exam is conducted electronically, so remember to bring your laptop. The exam fee is charged separately.

If you wish to become certified and take the exam, this must be arranged directly with Nemko or DNV. The application form must be submitted directly on Nemko’s or DNV’s websites.

Exams in connection with the course are carried out either physically on site or as a webinar. You may also arrange with the certification body to take the exam at a later date.

The goal

Course participants learn how to inspect existing installations in residential buildings following the requirements and recommendations in the 405-2 norm. The course also helps candidates prepare for the examination / certification 405-2.

  • Laws, regulations and norms applying to electrical installations from 1929 to the present day
  • Knowledge of the minimum requirements for smoke detectors and fire extinguishers and testing such equipment
  • Required electrical inspection as stipulated in applicable laws, regulations and norms
