Prerequisites
Participants must hold a valid Certificate of Competency as a deck officer, engineer officer, or electro-technical officer, or a valid certificate from an Advanced Safety Training course.
If the competency certificate or course certificate has expired, documentation of 12 months of seagoing service within the last five years may be accepted. The five-year period is calculated from the course start date.
