Do you work with tasks that create sparks, involve open flames, hot air tools, or generate high heat in other ways? Then there's a good chance you need a hot work certificate.
Insurance companies require certification for anyone performing hot work. With a hot work course, you acquire the necessary and mandated knowledge about how a fire can start and develop. You also learn the measures that must be taken to safely conduct hot work and how to extinguish a fire if it occurs. The hot work certificate is valid for 5 years in both Norway, Denmark, and Finland.

To obtain a complete hot work certificate, you must complete both the certification course and a practical fire extinguishing exercise that meets the requirements of the Norwegian Fire Protection Association. Therefore, we have put together a course package that includes an e-learning course in hot work and practical fire extinguishing exercise in collaboration with Firesafe. Of course, the courses can also be taken separately.
