EnglishEnglishThe privacy statement explains how Trainor collects and uses information about visitors to our websites. The statement contains the information you are entitled to when data is collected from our website (GDPR Article 13) and general information about how we process personal data (GDPR Article 12).
Trainor Elsikkerhet AS, represented by the CEO, is responsible for processing personal data when users register as private customers. In cases where the user's employer registers the user, Trainor Elsikkerhet AS acts as a data processor. The legal basis for processing is consent from the individual – or from the responsible party at the employer, unless otherwise specified or regulated in a formal agreement.
On the website, a user can register for a course by providing their name and email. Phone number and date of birth can also be registered if the user chooses to do so.
The personal information we receive during user registration is only used to administer the course and store course completion/certificates. When registering as an administrator, personal information is also stored in the CRM tool. During registration, the user can voluntarily choose to receive news/marketing emails, in which case the user will also be stored in the CRM. When a course is conducted through our partners, personal information may be shared for the administration of the course. Personal information is never shared with other parties without a specific request to do so.
After the course is completed, the user's information will be stored for five (5) years after the course's validity/competence expires, or until the user chooses to delete themselves from the system. If the user is affiliated with a company, the company is the data controller, and the user will not be automatically deleted.
Personal information related to orders is retained for a minimum of five (5) years in accordance with Section 13 of the Accounting Act.
Course evaluations after the course are voluntary and anonymous. If the user wishes to contact us after completing the course, an email will be sent to Trainor user support, which will follow up with the user. The support inquiry is not directly linked to the user but has a reference to the email address.
A company can register as an organization and then register its employees and enroll them in courses. In such cases, the company is the data controller, and Trainor acts as the data processor on behalf of the company. Trainor offers and encourages signing a Data Processing Agreement that regulates the use, storage, and handling of personal data. The Data Processing Agreement can be found under "My Company" on Trainor.no.
During the registration of users, explicit consent will still be requested from both the company's representative and the end user.
Trainor Elsikkerhet AS stores information about the search terms users use on our websites in Google Analytics. The purpose of this storage is to improve our information offerings. The usage patterns for searches are stored in aggregated form. Only the search terms are stored, and they cannot be linked to other information about the users, such as IP addresses.
Anyone who wishes to add new posts or reply to posts must be registered as a user on the website. All forum posts can be anonymous. If the user does not wish to remain anonymous, the user's name, the number of recommended posts, and selected completed courses will be displayed as badges related to the forum post. If the user is deleted, the name and badges will also be removed from the forum post.
